Albany Police and the family of 46 year old Justin Sitton of Albany are seeking the public's assistance in finding him. Justin has been missing since August 6, 2018. Justin, who is a military veteran, suffers from a Traumatic Brain Injury, and is usually found near his downtown Albany apartment. He does not drive, but is physically mobile. He stands about 6' 0" tall and 190 pounds, and his head was shaved bald when last seen. *****UPDATE*****
On 08-21-18 at about 6:20 P.M., Albany Police responded to a report of a body caught in a log jam in the Willamette River downriver from Bowman Park. The body was found to be that of Justin Sitton, reported missing on 08-06-18. The Linn County Medical Examiner's Office and the Oregon State Police Medical Examiner's Office are assisting in the investigation, and investigators have no indication that Sitton's death is the result of foul play.
