Albany Police Arrest Motel Manager For Encouraging Child Sexual Abuse I -06/26/18

On June 16, 2018, the Albany Police Department began investigating allegations that a motel manager at the Budget Inn Motel had subjected a female customer to unwanted sexual contact in a motel room.  During the course of the investigation, the hotel manager,  Dineshkumar Patel, age 62, was found to be in possession of child pornography.  On 06-26-18, Patel was lodged at the Linn County Jail on 3 counts of Encouraging Child Sexual Abuse I, a B felony.
