WE RECEIVED A TIP THAT PEGGY GOT A RIDE TO THE JACKSON COUNTY AIRPORT IN MEDFORD. SHE WAS SEEN ON SECURITY FOOTAGE THERE AT 4:00AM THIS MORNING AND LEFT ON FOOT. WE ADDED PICTURES TO THE FLIER FROM THE AIRPORT TO SHOW WHAT SHE IS WEARING. MEDFORD POLICE HAS BEEN NOTIFIED.

INFORMATION: On 6/14/2026 around 9:30pm, we received a report that Peggy Perry was missing. She was last seen sometime after 10:30am that same day and it is believed that Peggy walked away from her residence in the Colonial Valley area. At this time, Peggy’s direction of travel and clothing description are unknown. Peggy is believed to have a custom-made madrone walking stick with her that is blue in color.
Search and Rescue has been activated and Sheriff's Office volunteers are assisting in the search.
Please call the Josephine County Sheriff's Office at 541-474-5123 if you have seen Peggy or have any information as to her whereabouts.

DETAILS: On June 4th, 2026 at 7:41pm, deputies from the Josephine County Sheriff's Office responded to a traffic crash in the 1000 block of Caves Camp Road in Williams.
Upon arrival, deputies determined that the driver of the quad ATV, Timothy Cornia, left the roadway, struck a tree and came to rest in the blackberry bushes. Cornia had two juveniles riding on the quad with him and none of them were wearing helmets. All three riders sustained physical injuries and were transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital.
Cornia was reported to be intoxicated by hospital staff and the incident has been forwarded to the DA’s Office for prosecution on the above charges.
The Josephine County Sheriff's Office emphasizes the dangers of impaired driving and urges all motorists to make responsible choices to ensure the safety of our community and to wear helmets when using all-terrain vehicles.

• Driving While Suspended – Misdemeanor (DWS-M)
DETAILS: On May 24, 2026, at 12:03am, Josephine County Sheriff’s Office Deputies observed a tan GMC Suburban traveling westbound on Merlin Road at speeds estimated around 100 mph.
Deputies activated their emergency lights and siren, at which point the vehicle accelerated and attempted to elude law enforcement. The vehicle turned onto Merlin Avenue, failed to stop at a stop sign, and continued onto Pleasant Valley Road where a pursuit was initiated.
The vehicle continued fleeing northbound on Pleasant Valley Road at lower speeds before ultimately yielding in the 1100 block of Pleasant Valley Road.
A felony stop was conducted and the driver, identified as Job McGhee, was taken into custody without incident. During the investigation, deputies located a loaded semi-automatic shotgun in the front passenger seat of the vehicle. Deputies also determined the driver was intoxicated at the time of the incident.
McGhee was transported to the Josephine County Jail and lodged on the above listed charges.
