News Release
Don't be "Blinded by the light" Depoe Bay Fire can help (Photo) - 08/02/17

Gleneden Beach, August 2, 2017 -- Manfred Mann's Earth Band said it best. "Blinded by the light, revved up like a deuce another runner in the night". The Depoe Bay District is revved up for this cosmic event and are excited to be the first fire agency in the United States to be affected by the eclipse.

As the eclipse quickly approaches, we are pleased to offer free eclipse viewing glasses. These glasses will be available at the Gleneden Beach fire station (6445 Gleneden Beach Loop in Gleneden Beach) or the Depoe Bay fire station (325 Hwy 101 in Depoe Bay). Glasses will be available between the hours of 0800 AM-4:00 PM. Please do not wait until the last minute for these glasses, we have a limited supply!
